Dr. Jacob Cox is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute in Ocoee. His specialties include shoulder and elbow surgery, shoulder replacement surgery, robotic-assisted orthopedic surgery, rotator cuff repair, shoulder stabilization, orthopedic trauma surgery, sports medicine and osteoarthritis. Dr. Cox earned a bachelor’s degree in biology at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida. He received his medical degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa, where he completed an orthopedic surgery residency. Dr. Cox’s training continued with a shoulder and elbow surgery fellowship with the Texas Education and Research Foundation for Shoulder and Elbow Surgery in Houston.
